Belinda Stone is a contemporary artist based in Beaumaris, Melbourne. She is inspired by nature and colour to paint landscapes and vibrant abstract pieces.

"I love the beauty in nature and the way I can transfer this love on to a canvas using paints and tools. I get excited by the way paint blends together and changes its textures... it is a lot of fun and I often get absorbed in the painting process.

I like to create depth in my paintings by using colour, texture and multi-layering techniques which hopefully evoke a feeling of openness and interest to the viewer."

Much detail to colour choices‚ composition and blending keeps each piece individual. You will often find a lot of mark making details when looking closely and sometimes hidden messages!
