About Belinda Stone

Belinda Stone is a Melbourne-based abstract artist inspired by her global travels, wide open spaces and the calming rhythms of nature. After years working as a physiotherapist around the world, she returned home in search of a more balanced and grounded life. Painting began as an artistic escape, but when COVID-19 hit, Belinda transformed her garage into a dedicated studio and immersed herself in the world of art—learning, exploring, and creating with passion and purpose.

Inspired by her travels and a deep connection to nature, Belinda creates layered, textured works that evoke a sense of calm, openness, and freedom. Her style moves between soft, serene palettes depicting landscapes and coastal scenes, and vibrant, expressive brushstrokes bursting with bold, lively colour- reflecting her search for balance in everyday life. With a mix of moods and styles in her work, there’s truly something for every art lover. In every piece you can feel the joy she has working with paint.

Belinda has artworks across Australia and internationally, with works shown in Singapore, New York, and even a French castle. Her paintings are featured in both private collections and public retailers. Closer to home, her paintings feature in public spaces like the Bendigo Bank Melbourne City branch, along with private commissions and wall murals in homes and restaurants.

Alongside her creative practice she also teaches abstract painting classes and workshops at Beaumaris Art Group, sharing her knowledge and love of the creative process with others.
